The Maryland Retailers Alliance lobbies full time in Annapolis during the 90-day legislative Session from mid-January to early April, and throughout the state on local issues during the interim. Issues of note that MRA advocates on include:

• Corporate & sales tax rates
• Environmental regulations & product bans
• Organized crime & data security
• Tobacco & alcohol sales
