Why You Should Join
The Maryland Retailers Alliance lobbies on behalf of its members at the State and local levels, provides cost saving opportunities for members through the use of exclusive benefit partner services, and provides programs and services to assist business owners in operating their retail stores. Through membership in the Association, retailers have the advantage of group buying to assist them in lowering their costs for necessary services such as electricity and workers compensation insurance. In addition, MRA is the only statewide association representing retailers throughout Maryland. MRA is the voice of retailing before the Maryland General Assembly, localities, the media, and general public.
For retailers operating only in Maryland, membership in MRA also includes a free membership in the National Retail Federation (NRF). NRF is the world’s largest retail association, representing discount and department stores, home goods and specialty stores.
